On December 20th, Trinity Motorcycle Ministry, in conjunction with Community Compass, distributed 530 toys to 194 families, along with 500 coats and 40 food baskets. People walking into the Grace and Peace facility were overwhelmed by the kindness and love shown to them by the more than 30 volunteers who helped that day; some were brought to tears. Needs were met far beyond what they ever imagined. For some, unforgettable Christmas memories were made that day.
Thirty businesses and government offices helped make this endeavor a success. Some provided storage, vehicles and finances; others were collection sites for coats. Most of those listed below helped advertise by posting “Making Christmas Memories” flyers at their facilities.
All were thankful to be part of this special day and look forward to partnering with us again:

We’re excited to be able to reach out and touch many in our community with the love of Jesus this Christmas. After all, Jesus is the reason we celebrate this season!
Once again, Trinity Motorcycle Ministry is overseeing our annual Parade of Gifts to provide Christmas presents for children in our community whose families are struggling financially this year. For many of these children, this may well be the only Christmas gift they’ll receive. If you’d like to help make this Christmas memorable for one of these children by purchasing a gift or making a donation to bless them, please call 732-349-1550 x305 for more information.
In conjunction with this, Community Compass is holding a Coat Drive to collect coats, hats, gloves and scarves to bless these families, as well as the many others who are in need of winter outerwear. These items may be left in the drop boxes by the Clothing Room at The Church of Grace and Peace. For information on other collection sites, call 732-349-1550 x307 or visit www.communitycompassnj.com.
The Parade of Gifts was December 20th, 2008.
