Spiritual Motherhood Print
mh2I believe Spiritual Motherhood is one of those favored positions in which the Lord allows us to take part.   You get born again and you rejoice in the newly found love that the Lord Jesus puts in your heart.  You have no idea what comes next; you’re just rejoicing in the peace and joy that has appeared in your life.  As a result of this you want to share with those around you just how much life has changed.  

Each new person with whom you share the joy of your new life holds the possibility of another new life coming into being.  Sometimes it’s a stranger and they just find the wonder of life with Jesus and move on to some place where you’ve never even been.  At other times there is a really close connection between you and the person you’ve shared with – and they become part of your spiritual family. 

With this new believer you have a relationship that can be sweet and fulfilling if you continue to bring them before the Lord.  The Lord will speak to you concerning them and bring wonderful opportunities to share the best of what He has with them.  You may even have the honor of introducing them to the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the wonder of being able to pray in tongues.  Observing and being part of someone’s growth in the Lord is the blessing of Spiritual Motherhood.
